For those that have given us gifts.  We thank you from the bottom our hearts.  Joan and I are blessed to have family and friends like you.  Please, do not feel obligated to get us anymore gifts.  Getting Joan pregnant was a 7-year struggle and your thoughts and prayers, and a lot of help from Dr. Smikle, of Laurel Fertility,  made this all possible.  THANK YOU.

Joan and I had a wonderful baby shower with all of you.  Even though we were forced to do it virtually due to COVID-19 and we had to stay indoors due to the Bay Area's poor air quality caused by the California wild fires.  No, we were not responsible for the wild fire caused by a gender reveal.

We did have a limited number  of friends come over to keep Joan company.  They have been isolated to keep my unborn son, wife, and I safe.  Thank you Joy, Cheryl, Jean Noelle, Moana, and Maddie for coming over.

For the rest of you who attended the virtually,  THANK YOU for attending and I hope you had fun.

You can watch the Baby Shower Zoom Meeting below.  I am really disappointed that Zoom's video is not defaulted to record my view, which was Grid View.  I failed to capture the funny moments from those that were muted.  Many of the funny moments came from the bilingual scavenger hunt. 

For item, "pamunas sa bata", it is "Baby Wipes" in English.

• Maritess' entry was rejected, because she presented Clorox cleaning wipes.

For item, "Daliri", it is "Finger" in English.

• Cel immediately stuck her index finger up close on the screen.  The video showed that Chris and Sheri may have gotten it, but they were beaten by a full second.

For item, "Kutsara", it is "Spoon" in English.

• Stephanie, who is born here to Filipino parents, and Manilyn, who arrived here about 9 years ago from the Philippines, both presented FORKS!

For the bonus item, "Palo is spank.  Find a pamalo."  It means to find an item you spank your kids with.

• Vallese Family, which includes Elyrose (Darl), Vinny, Scarlett, and Lennon all came up with an item.  Darl had slippers, Lennon had a wooden spoon, and Vinny showed the back of his hand.

• Michelle Lee's entry was not accepted, because it was a baseball bat.  It was plastic, but still.....

For those that guessed that Joan was over 180lbs.  She said she's unfriending you.  Of course, she's just kidding.
